One of the most important principles we hold to as an international company is to create designs that are sustainable and eco-friendly. With changing market trends, the impact of global warming and the public’s increasing eco-awareness, we design with long-term use in mind and opt for recycled construction materials.

Yet there are times when design is required for items for use in the short-term, when the potential environmental harm exceeds that of a typical construction which might last 20-50 years. With a lifespan of only 1-5 days, making booths for an international fair presents a challenging design task. On the one hand, while creating an inspiring and innovative space for our clients, we aim at the best possible design outcome; on the other, we want to enhance the use of recycled materials that would express our and clients care of the natural environment.

In designing a booth for Boston Scientific at Shanghai’s annual Import Expo, our solution strikes the right balance. A dynamic, inspiring design and choice of materials embodies our client’s corporate culture and futuristic outlook. Glossy white surfaces and information columns are coolly offset by fully recycled aluminum foam, serving to underline our client’s message.
