Interior design of KGHM office in Shanghai
KGHM office Shanghai
KGHM is a Polish multinational corporation, which has risen to the well-deserved position of a global mining industry leader. The company engages in the extracting and processing of valuable natural resources with the largest European deposits of copper ore and facilities on three continents.
The interior design of the KGHM workplace in Shanghai creatively reflects the company’s core focus on mineral mining, blending modern design with natural, earthy elements. Inspired by the raw textures and geological forms found in mining, the space incorporates materials such as stone, copper, and metal, subtly referencing the mineral-rich environment of KGHM’s operations.
The design emphasizes open, airy spaces, symbolizing transparency and innovation, while industrial elements like exposed beams and mining-inspired sculptures pay homage to the company’s roots.
Earth tones dominate the color palette, alongside strategic lighting to evoke the essence of underground minerals and energy, creating a dynamic yet grounded atmosphere for the workplace.
